sha-ur aaya na mujhe mohabbat ka kabhi
woh har waqt mujhe salika sikhate rahe
mein toh kii tauba kii ab na mooh se lagaunga
woh saaghar-o-meena labon se lagate rahe
hum toh chahte thay ooth jaana mehfil se unki
magar woh har baar apne paas bithate rahe
samajh na paaye kisme thi masrufiyat unki
humne toh na suna jo woh kissa sunaate rahe
laaye thay jo tohfa hum chun k bazaar se
woh mere saamne hi uska sauda karate rahe
jab bujh chuki roshni toh khatm kii mehfil
par saari raat woh mera kaleja jalate rahe

saaghar o meena= Goblet
