Aaj phir unse bicharne ka ehsaas huva
aaj phir wohi purane dukh ka ehsaas huva

bahut kehte the hum kisi se dil na lagayenge
maloom nahi phir kyun dil lagane ka ehsaas huva

jo hum kabhi unse milke hanste the
aaj phir unse cheen jaane ka ehsaas huva

jinko hum apni kismat ka sitara kehte the
aaj phir kismat ka sitara toot jaane ka ehsaas huva..

toote huye khwaabon me hakeekat dhondti hu
pathar ke dilon me mohabbat dhoondti hu

nadan hu main ab tak yeh bhi nahi samjhi
bejan buton me ibadat dhoondti hu

mere jazbaton ki keemat yaha kuch bhi nahi
beimani ke bazaron me sharafat dhoondti hu

is ajnabi duniya me koi bhi apna nahi
gairon ki aankhon me apni surat dhoondti hu

umeed ki thi pyar ki bas yehi bhool thi meri
girte huye ashkon me apni hasrat dhoondti hu

Dil mera tujh ko itni shiddat se chaahta kyun hai
har saans ke saath tera hi naam aata kyun hain

tu kitna bhi mujh se tark e talluk rakhle
zikr phir bhi tera meri zuban se aata kyun hain

yun to hain kai faasle tere mere darmiyan
lagta phir bhi tu mujh ko meri jaan sa kyun hain

yeh jaanti hu ke tujh ko nahi mohabbat mujh se
magar phir bhi lab pe mera tera hi naam aata kyun hain

hai yakeen tujh ko paana na hoga mumkeen mere liye
yeh dil phir bhi roz umeed ki shama jalata kyun hain

mehsoos ki hain berukhi teri baaton me kai baar maine
lehja wo phir bhi tera mujh ko bhata kyun hain

gar bichadna hi hain to khuda hum ko milata kyun hain
kamsin ko aakhir woh itna satata kyun hain....

Ek berang sa manzar hai jaha tak sochu
zindagi main tere baare me kaha tak sochu

tera chehra bhi na yaad aaye ke tu kaisa hai
main tujhe sochke reh jau yaha tak sochu

log jis mod pe ghabrake bichad jaate hain
tujh se milne ka yakeen ho to waha taka sochu
