Blessed to Have You

I can honestly say that there couldn't be a more perfect day
the day you walked into my life all
shadows of darkness & despair disappeared without a trace
God blessed you with angelic face
on that day feelings that would last
for eternity came into play
this is not a game or trial but a risk
a chance that I surely will not dismiss
on that day all guards came down
as you placed on my head a love filled crown
your remarkable love for me & my love for you
can be seen even over the highest trees
it was if an army of faithful soldiers
marched and showered me with bullets of sensitivity,
happiness, and love.
hope and I surrendered all my arms to your comfort ness
to hopefully be one day committed to making love with you
me without you would be like a “t” being uncrossed and “i” not dotted
I am glad are love for each other is something we both spotted
a love so true a love only made for me and you
no other love would suffice or will do
you are like a breath of fresh morning dew
and I think God for that day he/she blessed me with you
