HI everybody

maine apne office me XP install kiya aur computer operator ne 2 din use kar ne ke baad phir complain kar di ki MY COMPUTER ki D drive me FOLDER OPTION nahi aa raha hai..gayab ho gaya hai..maine phir format kiya tha folder option aa gaya..kuch din baad uss ne phir kaha ki folder option gayab ho gaya hai......main kya karo main bahout baar install kar chuka ho, par woh banda pata nahi kya install karta hai jis se folder option gayab ho jata hai

plz anybody help me..............

i m a fresher in HARDWARE & NETWORKING FIELD

What exactly you mean by that folder option nahin aa raha hai ?

can you explain a bit more ?

Also, install some good antivirus just after fresh installation, also do windows patches for security available on microsoft website & then run full system virus scan.

FOLDER option ka means yeh hai ki

jab MY COMPUTER se D drive open karo..

to
File .Edit .View .Favorites
k
baad me Tools me last me Folder option aata hai..
.virus problem ya phir koi aur problem se yeh option show nahi hota..

plz suggest me the solution of this problem

ab meri puri baat samajh me aayi

Its due to Viruses..

Try doing this ==>

Code:

Click Start, choose Run and execute regedit.

Navigate to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer]

Look for a value called NoFolderOptions on the right panel

Right click on the NoFolderOptions value and choose delete

Navigate to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Explorer]

Right click on NoFolderOptions on the right pane and choose Delete

I will soon post the name of viruses so that you can remove them specifically.

Welcome but its a virus problem so do something about using latest virus definitions on your computer and periodic computer scanning.
