Will you please explain your point of view first ?

Bcz wt i think is Religious and Spirituality meant same in dictionary, but as according to our hindu sanatan dharm religious means in some aspects attached to th "Andh Viswash"! blindly following the fore-fathers cultures one as Sati and Jati! Whereas Spirituality which cud'nt be described in words, but only with some concepts consisting of pratical spirit in it one such as Ray key, Yog ! spirituality has power of itself to prove the presence of human life and in any religion whereas religious is that what we have to follow either we can inspire sumthing from it or not!!

But what i think is ISKON is the only place where we can find both the contexts at the very same time, and Isha you are also inspired of ISKON a lot , i think you may explain the point apparently!

Though I am not a priest or a holy person i may not be accurate, but just my personal idea's, since i believe in both R & S

Nice discussion guys...

When somebody says that he is religious, that means he believes in one God and follows certain practices and beliefs. y does he believe in God? .. probably 'coz his parents and their parents have been following the same thing. Ultimately religion makes us believe in supernatural world.

Now, spirituality on the other hand, is finding one's own path to God, rather than practising what has been passed on since ages. There are no defined rituals as such. This form is mostly followed for inner peace.

Of course, these two are interrelated, but are not same.

And, Isha ji as I said, being a good human being is more important than being religious or spiritual. You said that these are indirectly linked to each other. But if you go deep everything in this world is related to each other "indirectly".

I can be a good human being, without being religious or spiritual, it has to come from within Usual Smile

Ultimately, its just the perception, and this was mine.

Coming to the bull's eye, I would prefer being a good human being rather than being religious or spiritual.

Dont think so ... but weren't we talking about the other way round?

anyway now as u have said tht ... I'll give u a perfect example of terrorists ... they r religious to the core .... r they nice human being? I dont think so ... but on second thoughts what they r doing is acceptable frm their point of view

ultimately it boils to perception Isha ... theres nothing Good or bad in this world .. its just how you take it

DK

Bravo !

I liked your example and it is very true what you have said.

It all depends upon how one perceives it.

I have been given a number of times an example by others

To few people a half filled glass of water is half full and to others it is half empty. :D
