Deleted Post (thread) ???

I always try my best not to post anything offensive or out of forum norms. But still many times I have notice that my post gets deleted.  

May I know why?

Can we add a feature where user can view deleted post (and reason)?

Can monitors provide us an opportunity to have a look into offending post and act before they delete?

I am not asking for days, even 10-15 minutes are OK.  They can send a PM and if not acted by user within that time frame, then act accordingly.

I understand what you are saying NewYorker.

Some posts get deletes because the post above you or below you is offtopic..and makes the look of the whole page off topic.

THis will be kept in minds of the monitors from now that they will warn the Member before  deleting their posts vis PM...or if too offensive and ones that require imideate attention ...  will be deleted first and then the member will be notified.

Yes , Tosha is right.
Few posts get deleted immediately and few are deleted only after informing the member. I hope you can remember various locked "intro" post and then in a day or two they get deleted. We always try that no one gets disappointed.

What happened indian_groom?? Kindly tell us the problem first.We just dont delete posts for enjoying or just making some use of our power.Before being a monitor we r also a member here.

well i deleted offtopics from "Mr./ Miss yoindia" (polling section) by the consent of other monitors......but anyways, that sec. is locked now !!!......I dont know who deleted offtopics from other  sec!!

Thanks for locking the threads without intimation. Good use of authority. any ways if u feel like pls let me know why the thread was locked. in polling and voting sec. Be cos to my understanding voting doesnot always meas polling.

And after voting one can alwas decide on nomination and then polling can be started.

Also thet thread of mine was touched many times over by seniour members. without any kind of info to me.

Anyways if one has authority then use of that make oneself powerfull also.

Vikas you have highly misunderstood the act of locking your thread...!!
The intentions are not to hurt your sentiments or feelings or to make you feerl degraded.The soul intention is that soon (within 3days time) we will have fresh niminations. and then your topic will collide with the new topic. The reasone for the new Thread is ... A new competition we r having on Yoindia.
I hope to have your full cooperation with the current situation.

P.S : If you can notice all the old threads of nomination or polling have been locked that relate to coming up competition.
