Leaving YoIndia: Why such type of thread is created to know the suggestions

I am leaving YoIndia.
There are many reasons behind it and most importantly the attitude of the management which is associated with the site. I am writing some reasons with a little hope that in future some steps might be taken and the new members or the old members who rejoin the site would feel more comfort.

1. Lack Of Authentic coverage of creations -
After such a long period the site is still going with the same pace- there is no authentic coverage of the creative work done by the members.

2. Senior and genuine members have stopped posting
This has to be understood that why it happens.

3. Emergence of doubt
Earlier everyone writes on everyone's post because there were no distrust or wrong feeling among fellow members but now everybody posts on his/her thread only because now the same thing is taken in a wrong way. Some people see this on a personal level that why one has written to someone else post and this is also one of the important reasons why the site has lost its good members.

4. Very wrong use of authority to make multiple/repetitive ids
In this way members continuously not only cheat themselves but fellow members also and most importantly they ruin their authenticity/credibility/faith.

5. Miss-use of Rau
People have made their group and they prefer to give rau to their friends only and hence use Rau more as a matter of humiliating/insulting others than encouraging good posts.

6. Lack of good moderators/lack of right activities by mods.

7. No control over fake ids

8. Dead momentum
There are no competitions or bait-bazi type of thing started by site moderators/management to have a poetry momentum or even the game momentum so that not only new members can feel comfort to join the site but the existing members also contribute in a positive way.

9. No welcome of old members who rejoin the site.

10. No congrats by management to good members who complete a good numbers of posts.


The list is very long but again if the told things are not being seen with a positive frame of mind then it is useless to tell more.

I believe Every Website/Forum/Portal goes through good/bad phases.
I believe This is a tough time going with Yoindia Shayariadab . I have talked to Admin a couple of times with few suggestions, and Admin is also concerned with the situation, but they are facing a cash crunch and hence they are unable to take care of many things.

Finance is an important factor to keep the momentum of any initiative like Yoindia Shayariadab .

Other than this, the groups, the RAUs etc, this happens on every forum. Even in the big and recognized forums. If we really do some good work, it is appreciated even by the other groups.

Poetry is something which keeps us alive. we do it for ourselves, not for others. It gives us a way to De-stress ourselves. So why worry about RAUs.

for me I feel sissified the moment I write something. I post it after I feel it is worth sharing. Then if anyone appreciates it or not, doesn't matter. One must be satisfied with oneself, rather than depending upon the appreciation. Rest is luck.

I suggest you not to leave the forum. Keep writing for yourself.
Join few more forums. You will feel the similar problems in all forums. (even in bollywood they have camps.. isn't it)

But Something should be there that can promote the Shayer's community. It may organize Mushayaras and other events or help in publishing books that will provide financial support. It may invite best Yoindia Shayers to promote its event etc. See its my personnel suggestion. Financial problem needs cure and care.

NakulG I agree with you and the issue of finance is very old and is not justified earlier also. If one is poor one can not afford to be wrong or to be a thief etc I mean that If I don't have money then it may happen that I may not go to any movie but it does not mean that I get agree with wrong things.
If there is so much trouble of finance then it is better to close the site than to unfollow the previous good trend by the site.
I do not have any issue with management or with any mod/member and in fact I feel sorry if I apologize if I use hard words to management but I wanted to focus more on the real issue than on any individual.
See the childishness that they have removed my post from the homepage of the site which is written as suggestions for the site. If such is the rule then let it be for everyone for every post.
Anyways, as far as Rau is concerned I never meant the way you took, I meant that this should be utilized properly/equally specially by those who think that they think for the welfare of the site.
Apart from this there are many more points which are listed.

i ignore all the issues you narrated here.i just wanna say that right from  beginning i know your approach and again after a long period when you have appeared in this FORUM ,i was eagerly waiting trouble shooting stale agenda from your end and at last,,,,,,this is flashing on the wall of YO INDIA . i don't know your basic problem, all that i would like to say that if your this very burning and intense anxiety could be utilized to resolve the social issue rather than wasting here    bring some enlightenment in life style  is it not?? .

Yes, I agree with you. This site really needs an implementation of such advices.

But there is a lot can be done which does not need any finance.
The most important thing is equality and good atmosphere among members. Some members should be recognized and should be personally identified to all as their names and whereabouts will be on the book or E-book. I hope the admin panel will see the positive things and may some day Yo-Indians find this thing true.

See.. My only point is that this happens with every online portal with time.
Look at the history. Orkut went off is the best example.
There were many people still using Orkut, but the charm decreased. We cannot question the management of Orkut. Same will happen with FB, since WhatsApp is a hut now. This is time and human inertia. People start taking things for granted. This is happening with Yoindia Shayariadab too.
Keep contributing. Some day or the other, this portal will also be offline.
I believe admins will take some action on your concerns.
Or probably they have got some better platforms to manage .
