Below I received a PM from a new member of community. I feel it is will be better if I share this community in open and let the community decide.

Do you think he is right , do you think we should do something about it , kindly give your views

Agar poem ek bhi choti ya badi galti hai to use samjha (sahi tareeke se ) ya batana jaruri hai

chahe wo naya member ho ya poorana

ham jab koi poem padhty hain to usme shabdon ki chaap hoti hai
jo apni kahani bayan karty hai
to hamen unki galtiyan pakad ke batana hai ya fir unko aur jyada paripakva kaise kia ja sakta hai ye sochna acha hai

sir maine bhi yahan kaafi stories likhi hai agar aap sab memebers gaur kare toh lagbhag maine kaafi kahaniaa likhi hai aap mere profile ek threads mein padh sakte hai aur apne reviews de sakte hai ismein koi shak nahin ki yoindia only shayari mizaaz logo ke liye hi hai but main aapsab se guzaarish karungaa ki main yahan sirf aur srif kahaniya likhta hoo love stories in thriller and many genre admin ke kehne par main yahan aake dekha ki aapsab kitane comments de rahe hai so ek meri taraf se i am the yoindian story writer thank you for reading

I think there are multiple ways of looking at this situation:

1) Poetry is a persons best emotion expressed in words:Therefore it is obvious that poets will be sensitive about it, a lot of us who are new writers/ poets (we have read less of poetry have less exposure) dont have the complete understanding of poetry, hence lots of times we tend to get offended. but this is the nature of a new learner.

2) lessons are important: We have never had the opportunity to study poetry in an academic manner, but this forum helps us to get tutored by some very renowned poets, which otherwise was not possible. Therefore, new poets (like me) should take it constructively.

3) Feedback should be constructive: like i have received feedback couple of times and i find that those were correct feedback, i have felt being helped by seniors here, but as i said that since poetry is very sensitive, if the feedback is not given nicely, one tends to get offended. This is a medium were one assumes lot of things, since there is no face to face contact and one does not know the feelings behind feedbacks, whether someone is giving it genuinely or is trying to offend someone.

4) Cannot make few examples as a general observation: There could be some stray incidents, but if you seniors stop giving honest feedbacks, how will the new learn and turn into better poets.

5)last but not the least: The symbolism of appreciations according to me is not important. 2 claps vs 4 claps, a poet does not know what he has to improve, i would still prefer a feedback where i get to know what i could have corrected, or what needs improvement. Language, thought, expression - symbolic appreciation might not help us develop our weaker side

These are my instinctive reaction and feel that this is a great medium for new poets to explore and learn.

admin ji , shukriya . New member ne honest feedback ki baat kahi hai. Bahut mushkil kaam hai . Bahr wali post ka feedback alag tarah ka hoga bina bahr wali ka alag . Language , pronunciation ,khayal ki adaaygi sub ka alag alag tarah ka feedback hoga jo hamesha mumkin nahin hai . New Member ye clear kar dein ki wo kin pahluon per feedback chaahte hain to behtar hoga.
   Meri raai mein aap FORUM per hi koi thread create karein jismein log techical feedback  seek  kar  sakein . Kuchh  members islaah  karne  mein  dilchaspi rakhte hain aur mujhe yaqeen hai ki woh khud ko is kaam ke liye zuroor volunteer kareinge .

Dear Admin,
Thanks for seeking my view. Main apne baare mein honestly bataaun to jo kalam mujhe zyada achha lagta uspe main written comments hi deta hun. Clap unpe deta hun jo mujhe average lagti hain. Aur Jo posts mujhe achhi nahi lagti main padh kar chorr deta hun without any feedback. But I have to start giving written feedback to the posts which i didn't like also, so that the poet gets lesson.

Mere khyaal se New Comer ne jo issue uthaaya hai wo bilkul jayaz hai. Hamein achhe posts pe written comments dene chahiye. Isse New Comer ya kisi ko bhi hausla milega.

par agar mai us bat ko samajhta hu or uske tareeqe ki khami ko nazaraandaaz karta hu to ye bemaani hai kam se kam aise insaan ke sath jo seekhna chahta ho...ek ya 10 animated clap se aap formality nibha rahe ho ek tarah se appreciation kii (**** maaf kijiyega mai galat ho sakta hu yahan par ....fir bhi ek risk lekar ye kehena chahta hun ).....

Appreciation ka ek tareeqa ye bhi to ho sakta he....
mai manta hun ki har kisi ke post pe tipanni nahi ki ja sakti ...par jo chahe true replies mile unhe...to wo Apne post me mention karn ye bat...or fir log unhe us hisab se reply karen...
isse agar kisi ka talent nikharne me hamara koi yogdaan ho paya to ham khushnaseeb hoge dostoo...

Thanks i admin for inviting me to contribute to this topic. Now coming to the point of discussion, i agree to the request of the member. In fact when i was an active member of yoindia, i brought this up individually with many of my yoindia friends, but that was more like a personal request, urging them to reply to my posts with some contribution of their own rather than simple words or symbolics of appreciation.....and guess what, they all would respond to it constructively. Now, we can not force anyone to write or reply critically to someone's post.....can we???

I personally feel that it is an individual thing, varies from person to person and can not be enforced. So in the light of these facts, can we actually do something more than urging the members? I think that the point of discussion should be as to how to outreach majority of members with such a request, and mind you, still then, only few will actually comply.....My 2 cents!!

 hi,

 the given statement by the gentleman is,his own view.i do respect his view but don't agree cent-percent.because for me YOINDIA is a platform to enjoy and share ones feeling and not an institution as i said before in some thread during discussion resembled to the same concern.

  so if some one intends to like a written comments on his or her poem, ghazal, nazm etc should specify on the thread and should ready to bear the negative comments.

i personally don't plead this type of remarks since i am also one of them . because most of us are not proper poet people express their emotions through words and yes they are not capable to handle things completely in that case little hint is enough rather that completly operates the one's KALAAM.

those who intend to learn can approach the experts separately.

Aise masle par kuch kahna aur sunna bahut hi ajeeb sa lagta hai... maine bahut
baar aise masle dekhe hai har site par yehi rona hai... ?

But I observed mostly new member's hi aisi shikayat karte haiN.... aur unki shikayat
unki soNch se to sahiN hai par reply's karne waloN ki nahi... maiN aisa isliye
kah raha huN kyuN ke sab jante haiN maiN likhata behad kam huN aur sirf reply's
jyada karta huN... kyuN ke shayari mera shaukh hai yeH paheli baat huyi... so maiN usko
uske hisab se waqt deta huN...

Ab rahi baat comments ki aur shikayat ki toH mera naye member's se yehi kahna hai ke
woH jitna apni kalaam par reply chahte hai usse bahut jyada unhone dusroN ki kalaam ko
pahkar unse sikhne ki koshish karni chahiye aur unki post par apna freely reply dena
chahiye... With fully confidence...
confidence se aik joke yaad aaya... " woH mujhse kahti hai meri zindagi ko jannat
bana deNgi... " jo aik cup chaai thik se nahi bana sakti" but realy confidence ki baat hai ...


Wel toH maiN kah raha tha ke... new member's ne sab se pahle auroN ki post's padhni

So it's my request to all new member's ke woH pahle site ke sabhi member's se aise ghul
jaaye ke unhe yeH na lage ke woH naya member hai...

Yeh meri soNch hai aur yeH 100% kaam ki hai ... yeH mera confidence hai...

Wel keep comment's on this issue maiN phir aauNga is thread par kyuN ke comment's nahi

              behatr andaaz e bayaan, lafz ka sahi use,beh'r ki paabandi, correct pronunciation ....poetry men aise bahut se pahlu hote hai.ab agar in pahulo se nawaaqif member apne qalaam par islaah mangta hai to islaah dene wala aakhir kahaan-2 correction karenga?........... isliye mera suggestion ye hai ki aik thread create ki jaaye jahaan urdu poetry ke technical aspects aur doosre pahulo par jaankaari di gayi ho........jo log in baato ko nahi samajhe hai aur sikhna chaahate hai ,wo us thread par jaakar seekh sakhte hai..........jo member shaayri ki samajh rakhte hai aur chaahate hai ki is beautiful art ki jaankaari doosro tak pahunche wo volunteer kare........
