About Spamming...

This is written very clear on the yoindia home page taht spamming is not allowed over here, then why do users get the messages from users to join their site? actually hardly we gt any PMs and when we get after opening the inbox, if we find that it is the invitation to join someone's site then its really irritating, so what we are supposed to do then?

Its better that users get to know (actually some specific user only) the meaning of spamming over here, it doesnt mean that if spamming is blocked you cannot span in the forum and you can do that very well in the PMs,

just a simple question, IS PUBLICIZING THE SITE ALLOWED IN YOINDIA OR NOT? if not then why only some specific users are allowed to do, why the action against htem is not taken? just cuz they are big users and come regualrly, they are allowed to do anything on teh forum? if the rules are same for all then why do they do such sort of thigns?

i ask all the users to put on their views over here..

Talat has very nicely and clearly answered your points of concern.
Yoindia is the most liked and enjoyed internet site for shayari.
Here the users are, in general, very friendly and interact amongst themselves in a very friendly way. Everyday a number of new users join Yoindia.

Some users, it seems, get encouraged by the success of Yoindia and set up their own websites on the pattern of Yoindia. But then they need members to keep their website running. And to attract new members to their websites, first they post nice stuff on Yoindia and become friendly with other users and gain their confidence. Then, they try to invite them to their websites. They also try to malign the reputation of monitors by posting degrading stuff about them. Many yoindians do go and join their forums, and later realize that Yoindia was a much better place and come back.

There are also another kind of users, who just become member of Yoindia with the simple intention of inviting users to their own websites by sending pms with the link to their websites.

Yoindia is not owned by the monitors. We just help the Yoindia management in running the website smoothly. It is purely voluntary help on the part of monitors.

All the spamming on Yoindia is strictly prohibited. We do take action against people who try to spam. Please report any such activity to Yoindia Admin, Chief Monitor (Ricky) or any monitor.[/color]

Angle4u, See  from simple point of view its really bad. And about ignoring them, well all we request that please inform us and we will do the rest.
That recent spammer has been checked and I hope can't spam anymore here.

You people just enjoy Yoindia and keep reporting such things to any of the Monitor and leave rest upon us.
