Addition of Different language forums

It was proposed right in the begining to make different language forums at Yoindia but we kept that thing ignored as we don't feel much use of it but recently few of our members raised the ISSUE so we are now considering it again.

So we have decided to make different language forum for each section.

Say For "khumar-ae-ishq" we create a sub forum name "poetry for ishq in Punjabi". That way will make other forums to in different section.

But as if India is a big place and it is not possible to take all languages so we are asking users to give their opinion about adding languages . Members have to tell us the languages which they want to see at Yoindia.

So Member's views are highly appreciated.

The idea is good....But frankly kehna chahunga.....
Kyun languages ka section bana rahein ho....Indians hain bhai ek saath ek hi forum mein likhenge..Issi bahane hum dusra ka bhi padh liya karte hain....Language ka section banega to shayad woh bhi nahin hoga.......

Fir bhi idea iss liye acha hain kyunki humare unn dosto ko mauka milega jo regional languages main acha likh lete hain. Baki its wot the majority say...

Hello YOAdmin,

We Indian are having with lots of different languages  4  each region........we wud hav prefer to share different languages poetry in misc shayri forum ........... but the ppl who are not aware with the uses of different forums (may be sum new yoindians) wont and wud not hav shared there poetry in there patric language ............. but including a new forum for different languages poetry will be more conveinent for new users and so with regular's.............. i must say good IDEA

Since Bengali and Punjabi are the most famous and universal languages ppl use the most slangs in either punjabi or Bengali..........may be in any other languages i hav'nt heard of that.......i hav been to different cities of india and aware of different languges .............. and according to my experience my opinion is to add new forums or sub forums as : -

Bengali :- This will more go with Shayri-e-Zindagi and Shayri-e-Dard.

Yoindians may think sumthing else than w8 i hav said.......but i am quite sure that only this two languages will be able to gather more ppl.........since am a gujrati but i dont think that my patric language forum will be able to gather ppl there!

One more Idea ==>> We cab add a forum where we are only going to share poetry in our patric language..............i mean there no one can raise a question for there languages all yoindians will be well come there to share there patric language poetry..............!!

I mean sa single forum will take poetry in all diff indian languages...

Well first of all thanx for raising this issue....

Sd tum kuch hadh tak sahi ho, par jaise k main ek bengali hu, to mujhe ek bengali poetry k liye yoindia me jitna forum hay sab search karna parega, kiu k nobody knows kahan kis lang. ka poetry post kiya gaya hay, so agar sab lang ka atleast ek ek thread bhi ho, aur wo sab thread ek forum like..."Regional Forum" k andar ho, to hame pata chalega k kahan kya lang. ka poetry hay, aur yeh hamare liye asaan ho jayega.
Dusri baat issey hum un sabko inspire kar sakenge jo k regional lang. me bhi accha likhte hay.
Well this is true, k there r many lang. in india, so ab kaun sa lang. ka forum khulna chaiye yeh to aap hi log decide karenge, Main sirf do lang ka naam le sakta hu...
Punjabi.....There r many frnds of us who really write very nicely in punjabi.
Bengali.....As i am a bengali, i would like 2 c bengali poetry also, and i myself can post my own written poetry there.

Well, adding of each language is not practical, so we can add section for major languages ie. those languages in which we can have decent No. of poetries. Also there will one more forum like "All other languages Poetry goes here"  ..

it is prectical to add"all other languages poetry goes there"and start different thread of different languages in my veiw.if poets of different languages also post translation in hindi or english it will be extra benifit for diff. regions of india.

I Agree with u......but plz everybody tell ur views....baad me aisa na ho k lang. ko leke hum dosto me koi punga ho jaaye??
Punjabi for sure.....there r many writers....Bengali me kaun hay yeh to pata nahi.....par main kuch post kar sakta hu, par agar main akela hi hu to kya fayeda uska alag forum khol k ?So guys plz reply yaar....

I want to suggest one thing.....
Look this is not possible hum har forum me donn tin sub-forumm khole kiu k yeh to bahot ho jayegi nd i am sure hume utna response hi nahi milega...so ek forum bana lete hay jismepehele se hi kuch thread bane rahenge alag alag lang ke. aur ek lang. ka sirf ek hi thread...usme hume sad, joy har tarha k poetry post karna hay...isi tarha agar kisi ko bengali poetry dekhna hay to wo uss ek thread me chala jaaye aur poems dekh le..the diagram like....

Forum for regional lang.
        Sub forum for Punjabi
               Poems of diff type in this one forum
        Sub Forum for Bengali
               Poems......
        All others
               poems......

Is tarha se space bhi bachega. Aab love sad, sab k liye agar alag alag subforum banaye mujhe lagta hay hume utna posts nahi milega uske liye...isiliye main to bolunga k ek lang. ka sirf ek sub-forums ho...baaaki jaisa aap sab ka marzi....

Here people are concerned about posters. But you everything starts from nothing. On Yoindia there still few section which were almost dormant in begining and it was me and few others who had to initiate and later on when many other came and contributed.

So instead of worrying about posters, we should worry about creating the right forums. I think we can make 2-3 language forum for each and then "All other language forum", later on the basis of post found on "All other language forum" we can make new forums if there is any such language which needs its forum separately.

About making a single forum for all language will only cause confusion as I have seen on many other poetry forums and that is the reason we want it very specific. Making a forum for all languages and then making different threads for each language will only cause trouble and insufficient exposure to once's creation.

So Yoindians... suggest what languages whould you like to see at Yoindia.

But again I want to make sure that any decision will be taken only after the sufficient input of users so Kindly inform all users and your friends to give their views.

Dear everyone,

I have gone through all the replies and personally i liked the idea of shayar_dildaar. Jo mazaa ek saath likhne aur padhne mein hai woh shayad clustered forums mein na aaye. It is so nice to find each other in one place. Though i am a punjabi myself, i enjoy myself in the regular forums. I personally don't want any sub-forums.

I have made such great friends here that i don't want to see the current format being changed, at least not for the time being. And it is always nice to see who has posted a reply from the main forums screen, than to dig deeper.

Yoindia is an international meeting place, where everyone from different cultures, religions and regions meet and express themselves. It brings people closer and there is a very strong bonding amongst the Yoindians.

So once again i second shayar_dildaar's opinion.

You will not have to dig deeper , you can always access the forum directly from main page. Sub forum means that they are part of that forum ie. we have Shayari-e-ishq but in different language also.

Dear Admin

As an alternate suggestion, let us ask all the users to start some regional language posts, say in bengali, gujarati, marathi, punjabi, etc. in the regular forums and see how other users reply to these posts. I mean, do we get enough replies to a particular post in the same language by other users.

That could be used as a sort of polling to see what percentage of regular users are interested in writing in different languages. Currently there are few users who write in punjabi, but those people you can count on finger tips(and we are almost 10,000 yoindians), at least for now.

It's a lot of work for our Yoindia development team to add all these features, i being an IT professional understand this very well.

Other users please take active interest in this discussion if you are really serious about this.
