Show your poem to world : Use Social Bookmarking

We have just added social bookmarking to Yoindia .

What is Social Bookmarking?
It is an online service provided by various websites where you can create a collection of pages / links you like. You can also share them with public.

Why do I Bookmark them there?
1. Your bookmarks will remain safe always and thats for whole life.
2. This way you are also sharing your favourite topic or your favourite poem with other and more visibility for your poem to world.

What are tags?
Tags are "single" word which is used to classify a content. For example: An urdu love poem can be classified by following tags :
urdu, love, poem ie.
it is part of urdu, as well can be part of love as well is a poem.
Tags will be used by all of the services to classify your contents to store them more efficiently.

How do I bookmark a topic of Yoindia?
On Yoindia you can find it after each topic or poem :


There you click on any of the available service, for instance I am describing Digg which shows that it has been dugg 1 time , which means 1 person has bookmarked it. Now its available in Digg.com website where if anyone like it can also add, so if more people like and more add it, then number will grow showing that its a popular poem.

Things to remember when bookmarking?
1. Always bookmark clear URL , eg.
http://www.yoindia.com/forums/taraste-hain--vt22663.html
But do not bookmark when URL is similar to
http://www.yoindia.com/forums/taraste-hain--vt22663.html?start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
2. Avoid bookmarking not very useful or significant threads or topics.

Last but Important
1.You need to register on those websites in order to use their service, registration is simple and small in most of the sites.
2. You can either register on all services or can use 1 or 2. I suggest using Digg & del.icio.us .
3. This will give more exposure to your work even outside Yoindia.com

I m Unable to Register on del.icio.us ....i got Confused in its Second Step...while i have to Download some Buttons..!!

Please be sure to use clean url without anything after .html as well as do not submit url like "image.html" ie. submit only proper URLs.

I am glad that people have started using it.
