Dear Members,
Last month we had discussion about "
Poetry as an Stress-buster. Many members gave their views and apparently everyone agreed to it.
Saman Firdaus said "She felt it when she wrote poetry on shayari-e-dard or shayari-e-dard-e-judai or bewafai" while
Bishwajeet 'Musaahib' called it magical.
Muhammad Touhid even shared few lines on it :
Qalaam ho ghazal ho ya ho sher-o-shayari, likhna achha lagta hai mujhe...
Ek yahi zariyaa hai dil se dil milane ka, milna achha lagta hai mujhe...
aqsh also agreed saying :
"It helps me to divert my mind from negative stressfull feelings....poetry is a great stress reliever to me."
sahal says that all kind of poetry helps in relieving stress be it romantic, sad, patriotic or any other form.
As per "
zarra" : "Poetry sometimes arises out of unresolved stress but often ends up healing it, at least to an extent if not fully"
ahujagd says that if there is any conflict with any friend or family, instead of dragging the issue, he writes poetry on it and controls himself. Suggest others to try it in order to solve such conflicts .
nandbahu adds that "while writing poetry, generally a good time is spent in correction and improving it, you tend to forget stress and then in the end you get a wonderful creation which actually makes you feel better".
iftakhar ahmad says that after completing a ghazal or a couplet of a ghazal I feel relaxed and delighted as well as I also try to convey social messages through my poetry.
I feel very good after writing poems and even more after reading it again and again, says
Monita.
Verdict of Yoindia Shayariadab Hence , we can say that apart of an art, poetry is also an effective stress buster, not only it makes you happy, it gives you feeling of accomplishing something good to make you proud as well as it also captures those moment and keep them alive forever, even if you read it after many years. It is also a good way to convey social message.
I hope, we will see even more people learning this art, spreading the words.
Please do take part in next discussion which is "..." (WIP)
Also, if you have anything to add here, then you are welcome.
